You are not forgotten

Do you ever feel sometimes that God has forgotten you? Perhaps that everyone around you is doing greater, more important things. Have you ever wondered “What about me lord?” Well you are not alone, you are in company with many of the historic characters in the bible.

 

David was the youngest brother, of little significance, sent to look after his fathers sheep while his brothers did something “far more important” in the worlds eyes. His own father didn't even think about calling him when Samuel came to anoint the next king. Even after he had been anointed future king (at around 17) he maybe felt like God had forgotten him, as it wasn't until he was 30 years old that he began to reign as king...
